每周我们会选一个有关足球的单词或者词组和大家分享。是的每周就一个，不多！主要是起一个引导作用，让大家有一个学习足球英语的意识，希望足球英语这个小栏目让大家了解一些基本的足球术语，不但对你听英文解说，对其他体育项目也很有帮助，因为很多是通用的。
守门员 Goalkeeper，GK
在球场上，最后的一道防线自然是各自球队的守门员，英文为Goalkeeper。口语中也被称作Goalie，可翻译成门将。
在战术沙盘,比赛直播或其他某些场合常简化为GK。与其他球场位置不同的是， 守门员的位置一般相对固定，守门员在本方禁区(Penalty Area)内, 可以用身体的任何部位(当然包括使用双手)接触球。
在本方禁区外的任何位置, 他的触球原则和场上其他位置的球员一样。同时，在本方小禁区(Goal Area)内守门员的活动受到保护，对方球员主动干扰守门员的行为, 一般会被视作犯规动作。
譬如守门员在小禁区内摘取高空球时，对方前锋有意使用跳向动作影响该守门员的接球动作，那么这名前锋将被判罚影响守门员，该动作将被罚跳向犯规。
守门员的职责是使用身体去阻挡射门，阻止对方的进球尝试。规则允许守门员出现在球场的任何位置, 但是在本方禁区外的位置， 守门员不得以手持球。
守门员一般也同时肩负着本方后场禁区附近的直接任意球和门球的主罚。
另外，守门员在对方获得角球或任意球时还要组织本队的防守， 这包括挑选防守人数，安排防守位置以及人墙的排列。有时守门员在本方防守任意球时还会安排本队的盯人方式和防守阵型。
守门员还需判断是否出击以截断传中和对方长传。现代足球中，守门员甚至还有发动长传进攻的作用。
根据国际足联的规定，守门员的穿着必须与球场上的其他球员以及场上裁判和官员的穿着拥有明显差别。
墨西哥著名足球门将豪尔赫·坎波斯，因爱好身穿五彩斑斓的服饰被尊称为“花蝴蝶”。
大部分守门员会佩带手套以加强对球的控制并防止手指，手掌或手腕关节在扑救时受伤。
然而佩带手套并非规则强制, 例如2004年欧洲足球锦标赛四分之一决赛， 英格兰对阵葡萄牙的比赛中，葡萄牙守门员里卡多.佩雷拉(Ricardo Pereira)在没有佩带手套的情况下扑出了英格兰球员达里乌斯.瓦塞尔(Darius Vassell)的点球。

在点球规则中:
无论是常规时间还是点球决胜时，在对方球员罚出点球前， 守门员必须站于所守球门两个立柱间的门线上， 可以采取原地跳跃， 挥动手臂， 沿门线移动或其他方式分散罚球者的注意力；
无论是常规时间还是点球决胜时，守门员都可以成为本队点球的主罚者。
关于守门员的一些纪录:
历史上身价最高的守门员是现在效力于意大利尤文图斯俱乐部(Juventus F.C.)的意大利人吉安路易吉.布冯(Gianluigi Buffon)。2001年, 布冯由意大利帕尔马俱乐部(Parma F.C)转会至尤文图斯时的身价5229万欧元。
